Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of the GrowMore CookMore mobile apps and growmorecookmore.com, made by Tony Smith ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to them. If you downloaded the app from Apple's App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement also applies.

The app and your subscription

GrowMore CookMore has a free tier and two paid subscription tiers:

• Harvest — £4.99/month or £29.99/year
• Bumper Harvest — £6.99/month or £39.99/year (adds the Garden Planner)

Prices in other countries are set in your local currency by the App Store or Google Play and shown before you buy. Paid tiers include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account. You can manage or cancel any time in your device's subscription settings (App Store: Settings → your name → Subscriptions; Google Play: Menu → Payments & subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, as they process all payments.

Fair use

AI features (the Head Gardener/Head Chef chat, seed scanning, pest identification, invented recipes) have monthly usage allowances to keep the service affordable. Don't attempt to abuse, resell, or programmatically hammer these features.

Your content

Your garden records, photos and journal entries remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them solely to provide the app's features (including syncing between your devices).

Gardening and cooking information

Growing guidance, recipes, pest advice and AI-generated content are provided in good faith but gardens, kitchens and seasons vary — use your own judgement, especially with food safety, allergens, and anything you treat plants with. AI-invented recipes should be read through before you cook them. Nothing in the app is professional, medical or dietary advice.

Buy-seed links

"Buy seeds" buttons open third-party retailers' websites. Your purchase is with the retailer under their terms; we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Acceptable use

Don't use the app unlawfully, try to break or reverse-engineer it, or interfere with the service or other users.

Ending things

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. We can withdraw or change features with reasonable notice where practical.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, the app is provided "as is" and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
